Hi Everyone !

I Love reading the digest and have learned a lot from all the friendly experts.

Dawn & I are getting our 77 Kingsley gussied up for her first trip (with us ?) to the GMCMI Amana convention in a few weeks. Thinking about replacing the plug wires. The PO has 8mm Silicone wires with white ceramic ends on the plug side. I do not know how old they are. I have never seen wires like this before. Are these unique to GMC motorhomes ?Are they preferable to the silicone booted ones ? We have a HEI coil on a 455.

Any advice would be appreciated....for all I know swapping out these ceramic beauties would be a downgrade (?)

See ya in Amana !
