G'day,

Thought I'd update our trip to date.

Haven't had any real problems with vapor lock since I adopted a policy of keeping both tanks as full as possible. The Onan is still
playing up. It starts and runs find for as long as an hour or so then it dies. I will play with it over the next few days. I assume
that "they" don't like it if you run it in an RV park.

What did we see between Frederick, CO and Casper, WY.

In Cheyenne we visited the Nelson Museum; it is a private museum owned by Mr. Nelson, a local attorney his collection of frontier
items. I was blown away by the number, diversity, quality, and presentation of the items in this museum; it was well worth the $3.00
entry fee (each) for seniors. Quite frankly it was BETTER than the Wyoming State Museum! It had a unique commentary system. You call
an phone number and as you walk from display to display you push 1#, 2#, 3# and so on and there's brief commentary on the display
you're looking at. We also visited the Wyoming State Museum, Wyoming State Capital and Governors mansion. Helen got the obligatory
fridge magnet and a couple of other items.

We headed for Fort Laramie but due to our consistent policy of getting started at the crack of noon we didn't make it very far and
we stopped at Wheatland. The next day we made it to Fort Laramie and spent a couple of hours wandering around the place. Fort
Laramie was important to the settlement of the west. It was on the Oregon Trail and the Pony Express. When we left Double Trouble we
fired up the Onan and turned the A/C on (it was 101F). As we wandered from building to building we could hear the Onan purring away.
I wanted to look at a few buildings that Helen didn't so she went back to Double Trouble. When I headed back I couldn't hear the
Onan any more. When I opened the door Helen told me that she was about three feet from the door when it died. Now I know what's
wrong - the Barbarian doesn't like Helen!

We headed back to I-25 and stayed overnight at a nice RV park in Glendo, WY. It's run by a husband wife team. The wife is a real
DRAGON! The place is 5 years old and it's the first RV park with a coin operated shower I've run into! As we got ready to leave I
noted that the golf cart the run around the place in had an air compressor in it. I walked into the office and noted I had a low
tire and if they could help me by inflating the tire. The Dragon lady told me to drive down to "Howards" - the local gas station.
Hubby said no problem he'd fire it up for me. Turns out that they run the place from April to November and head to Arizona for the
winter.

From there we headed to Casper, WY. We found a Sam's club and got gas for $3.32 which was $0.27 per gallon cheaper than anywhere
else. Across from Sam's there was a Bed Bath & Beyond where we found a bunch of stuff for Double Trouble that we just couldn't live
without! After that we headed to the Fort Caspar Museum and RV Park. I reckon we'll spend a couple of days here then we head for
Crow Agency, MT (Little Big Horn).

Time to call it quits for the day.

Below is a revised route plan.

Frederick, CO - Cheyenne, WY - Wheatland, WY - Laramie, WY - Casper, WY- Crow Agency, MT - Billings, MT - Devil's Tower, WY -
Deadwood, SD - Sturgis, SD - Regent, ND - New Salem, ND - Bottineau, ND - Dunseith, ND - Grand Forks, ND - Fargo, ND - Watertown, SD
- Sioux Falls, SD - Mason City, IA - Amana Colonies, IA - Kansas City, KS - Wichita, KS - Oklahoma City, OK - Quitman, TX - Houston.

Regards,
Rob M.
