We were in Canada this weekend for the "Tomato Festival" in Leamington (on the Canadian Rivera aka the north shore of Erie).

While at the Duty Free Store at the bridge, a lady stopped and asked if she would mind if she took pictures. ??!
She said they had been looking at coaches - specifically at GMCs - I was kind of stopped, but told her to go ahead. As soon as Mary opened the door, she looked in and exclaimed, "It is all original!" - This was a person with more than a casual interest. She and Mary talked while I went in to buy more liquor while I could.

We spent most of the rest of the weekend in the parking lot of the municipal marina (no hook ups, but effectively priced - free &w/Wifi). The rest of the sail club came by boat.

While prominently parked in a shady place, two different interested parties came by to discuss the coach, a couple and a single guy.

The other was quite out of the blue. We took the coach into town to set up to watch the parade. We also took some others that choose not to walk the mile or more and the folding chairs of the entire entourage. Those with me had left to set a place, I was with the coach parked in the Walmart (what else) lot a partial block off the parade route. As I was securing things, a fellow carrying a Tim Horton's tray (what else - this is Canada) changed course and headed over. He stopped to say he had always wanted a GMC when he was younger, and we talked about mine and the availability of good solid coaches and then I had to hustle chairs up to the main drag as I could hear bands.

In my own world, I often say, "Where there are boats with masts, there is always someone I know, or someone I should meet." I guess some things just fit.

Matt
