The trick here is to sit back and look at the situation. Grab a hydraulic jack, or two, and get busy. I am guessing maximum time I spent on each mount was 10 minutes. Remember, I don't work without shade. When it moved, I was done. The back two are simple. Nothing to do but undo the nuts and swap those out. The jack will help. Don't bend anything on the bottom of Onan with jack. Use a 2x4. On the front two, pull the faceplate and the metal plate that the right mount is bolted to. Swap them out, put the plates back on and you are done my friend. No sense in postponing this chore as it is really no chore at all. Gives you a chance to clean things up a bit also.
Tools: two jacks, 2x4, 3/8 and 7/16 sockets, 9/16 wrench, plyers, and a big ole screwdriver.
I ain't even a mechanic. Just look things over real good before you do anything. I did ask a few questions of Carl Stoeffer as I knew he had done this recently.
When I do the intake I will have lots of pictures of just what is going on. I have received lots of advise on making the aluminum intake stick from Dick Paterson and Rob Mueller. The Onan was too simple for pictures.
