Hi all, thanks for all good advices.
I will go pick up RV today.
so first I will need a replacement controller board, as old one has
corrosion and some of the circuit board back side traces i think they are
called are broken off.
I plan to use it this weekend in central WI to go visit a band I love.
Probably leave Thur am so probably will have no board. Shop had a new board
and it started once he wiggled that plastic connector on right side.
they have 5 hours in it at $96 an hour. he had to track down and replace
the ends of wires that attach to the circuit board, volt meter em etc... he
says... mouse did chew a few wires I know! so what they did so far: wire
ends, and fixed eaten wires, brushes and springs, put in new control board
and tested... but will remove that as I do not want to pay $250 for it.
here is summary of what tech says it needs yet: track down and fix lose
connector wires on plastic connector, tuneup, points, plug wires, air
filter, oil change, and me to buy a control board and put in.
I will have it later tonight so I can take pictures then as needed.
so for now, maybe I can solder wires to jump broken circuit board tracks?
not sure i need generator this weekend, just me and gf driving and parking
really. we can do with out roof ac.
Who or how you all suggest i get a replacement cirsuit board best
price/quality.
thank you all so much.
