It's 1976 and I'm going to Palomar Community College in California. Between classes one day, I go to the cafeteria and grab lunch. I decided to head to the parking lot and eat in my car, which is quieter. I've got a plate of food in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. I put the coffee on the roof of the car so I can grab my keys. I get in, sit down, put the plate on the passenger's seat, and because it's such a nice day, I reach up to crank open the sunroof.
Amazingly, it still took another thirty years before I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder.
