I will be giving a seminar on six wheel alignment at the upcoming GMCWS Casa de Fruita rally. Rear camber is very important. It should be set to 1 to no more than 2 degrees tire in at the top to prevent the rear end from over steering in a hard corner. Do not allow rear camber to become tire out at the top as that will really effect handling in bad ways. All four rear wheels should run frame parallel (zero toe). If both wheels on one side are off by the same amount you can correct that by shimming the bogie mount. If only one is off, then that bogie arm is bent and will need to be bent back. GMCWS has purchased a DIY alignment kit for use by the members. You can check all six wheels on your coach very precisely on any level parking pad in 30 to 60 minutes. You may be surprised to learn that your coach may never have been properly aligned no matter how experienced the alignment shop! Come to the rally for the full scoop and lots more.

I think most of the variations and conflict could be resolved by setting rear camber close to 0. Of all of the suspension threads I have read the only mention of setting the rear ride Height.
I am curious of camber and toe settings for the rear suspension that were made during recent four way alignments of our coaches. Anyone have a before and after printout with readings? I suspect that toe and camber go untreated unless grossly out of position due to the work involved to loosen and re position the bogies.
