At Shawnee, someone asked if the spark control module # 16131231 was a bandpass filter.
Well, I tried to find out, but I have been unable to contact the person that might actually know. I did contact another associate and he pointed me to the applications list available online.
What I found there:
The part is only listed as used for the 1995 7.4 (454) engine and none other. It may well be a band pass filter tuned to the big block, but I can confirm no more than that and that the part is out of production.
