I've always had a tiny trans leak that I couldn't find. A mechanic changed the transpan gasket and charged me out the ying yang. But that didn't solve it. Its more of a seep then a leak. No noticable amt drips but a tiny amt that collects dirt. Today while changing my hoses I noticed the top of my trans is all dirty. Looking about I saw a place the was a little damp. I read the parts book (yea Im a slow learning but actually broke out a book before I asked the question!) and it was called a trans vent. Has anyone a suggestion to making the vent less stubby
(mine has some sorta loose fitting cap on it, so if it does vent more air will come out vs a trans seep?
