Good morning,

Just in case you missed all 10 Reasons, here is the complete list:

1... BECAUSE IT IS THE CONVENTION!

The convention that is backed by an organization dedicated to promoting
the legacy, enjoyment and use of GMC Motorhomes.

Members and attendees are superb! Where camaraderie, fun and down
right laughter is the norm.

If you do not have your registration in as of yet, go to www.gmcmi.com
and the download the interactive registration pdf and mail it in soon.
Postmark deadline is March 10.

Unable to attend the entire convention, do not hesitate! Email or call me
and I get right on working up a prorated convention fee to fit your
schedule.

2......GMC OPEN HOUSES!

YES, the opportunity to check out that great vehicle,
the GMC Motorhome. There are two open houses
scheduled to check out what other GMCers have done
to update, improve or maintain the original look of
the GMC.

One more to go!

3......VENDORS! WE HAVE VENDORS!

Where would any of us be without our vendors!
They have the parts, service and dedication to the wonderful
GMC Motorhome. So, grab a ziplock bag out of the kitchen
cupboard, break into the piggy bank and bring you loot to
the convention!

4......GREAT FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, FUN!

5......FREE AIRBAG INSTALLATION AT SHAWNEE!

Todd Sullivan WILL present a technical/installation seminar on a new option
for GMC airbag replacements.

When Todd was asked what the objective of this seminar will be, he
answered...

The objective of this seminar is to assist GMC motorhome owners to hear
about the existence of a new factory like replacement option for the now
obsolete original Firestone air spring rear suspension system. The seminar
will consist of information (powerpoint presentation) on how the Sullybilt
System works. Followed by a live change out of the stock system on a coach
to demonstrate the ease of installation.

SPECIAL OFFER: Todd has arranged for five sets of Firestone airbags to be
delivered to Shawnee, Oklahoma. He is offering to install (free
installation) the Firestone airbags with the Sullybilt System at the GMCMI
Convention. One set is already spoken for. If you wish to arrange to have
your airbags replaced, please contact Todd directly at 206-948-5210 or via
email at sgltrac@gmail.com.

6......GMCMI PINEBLOCK DERBY!

What more can I say! Anyone that has seen a GMC Derby will agree
it is fun. Whether you are competing or a spectator it is an event to not
miss!

7......CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!

Non-Tech Session – Roger Black
Hearing Loss and Spouses who live with it, too.
The objective of this session is to share my experiences from hearing loss
to deafness and back to hearing again. Discussion of the Spouse’s role and
problems living with someone with hearing loss. Exposure of other problems
of hearing loss no one talks about. THIS NON-TECH IS FOR BOTH THOSE WITH
HEARING LOSS AND THEIR SPOUSES!

8......CHOCOLATE FOR THE LADIES!

Ladies Social – hosted by the Ladies of Tulsa Lunch Bunch
“ A Chocolate Affair”
We’ll tease your taste buds and delight your senses with scrumptuous
chocolate creations. It will be fun and delicious!

9......DIESEL IN A GMC!

We welcome a first-time attendee and presenter at Shawnee!

Tech Session – Marc Hogenboom
Diesel Engine in a GMC
The objective of this tech session is to explain what I did to install a
diesel engine, what in my view the advantages of diesel are, and why I did
it.

Thank you Marc.

10......FIRST TIME EVER!

Tech Session – Dave Lenzi
Part 1 - GMC Front Wheel Bearing
A front wheel bearing tech session will be presented by Dave Lenzi at the
Shawnee GMCMI convention. The first portion of the tech session will
consist of a detailed description of our wheel bearings, their fit, And
reasons for failure.

Tech Session – Dave Lenzi
Part 2 - GMC Front Wheel Bearing Installation
The second portion of the tech session will be a “hands on” disassembly and
re-assembly of a hub/knuckle. A cam corder will be utilized to display the
video on a large screen “real time” so all present will have a ring side
seat. This tech session is unique, in that it will be presented inside a
work bay at the convention facility. A coach in the bay will have one
wheel/tire removed to allow viewing of the hub/knuckle assembly. A mock
removal of the hub/knuckle assembly from the coach will show the special
tools required, And how to use them. For expediency, a previously removed
hub/knuckle assembly from another coach will be used for the actual
rebuild.
