How does BP get away with this misleading commercial where you " Imagine one car filled with low detergent gasoline and another filled with BP gas with Invigorate--- the BP car will go farther"... or something to that effect. Yes, that scenario is true, except that low detergent gasoline is not sold in the USA last time I checked. Nor has it been available in decades.
Am I correct? All gas is detergent as speced by the API. Some brands may have more added than the required minimum, but then you are burning more addtives, which I don't think move you down the road as well as fuel.
