I am going to install new carpet in the cockpit of my coach and would like to provide some sound/thermal insulation.

I see that some have used Hush Mat; others have used Dyna Mat and James Hupy used some special unnamed foam carpet pad.

James, was the pad readily available from a carpet supplier/installer?.

Corey Jones had something installed at the TI Rally. Any one know what it was?

Do you install a regular carpet pad over the HushMat/DynaMat type products?

Any other suggestions or recomendations?

Thanks for the input.
