To anyone who ever met our FischenDog and told us, "cool dog!" please know he is very unwell and is on a therapy to give us a period of grace to adjust to the fact that he will be leaving us soon. His kidneys are failing for whatever reason and there is no cure. He came to share our lives as a beautiful 8week old pup in July of 2002. He is the world's greatest Weimeraner, at least to us. My grandma told me once that we are all only on loan to each other so we better enjoy the loan while it lasts. 9 years is not long enough for me but........ So now that we are seeing canine loan #4 coming to an end you'd think that it would get easier to say good bye. But it's not and it never will be. So to all of yous and yours, enjoy all your loans .
