Good Afternoon
Although I converted to Duracool, multiple times per year by AC goes dead and I
need to recharge. I recently purchased a can of dye and an ultraviolet light,
last night I put the dye in the system and began recharging it with Duracool.
Within seconds I found my problem. One of the fittings had a crack in it and I
didn't even need the black light to see the dye, it was clearly visible. I
wiggled the line and that was apparently enough to cause the fitting to
completely fail. I removed the fitting and did some running around today to
find a new one. I should be able to have this problem resolved in an hour or so
tonight.
That dye really identified my problem quick, wished I would have done it 2 years
ago. I'd highly recommend it.
