Anyone traveling in Illinois near the North East side of the state, be ready for slow travel and detour.
We had a storm come in from the West, blowing to the East. We had winds at about 80MPH and much tree damage. We have many roads blocked by fallen tree debre and detours are going miles out of the way.
the weather has cleared up and clean up teams are trying to clear the way but it will take hours if not days.
Power is out all over the area, I am on the GMC generator at this time, not bad for an Oh NO Onan, lolololol
I would suggest traveling around the area for the next day or so while clean up continues to bring us back to normal.
