OK - thanks to net answers, private message and dash A/C pictures on the photo site.
New questions:
Compressor has not spun in a few years. I can rotate the spindle by hand - not much resistance. Clutch locks on with 12V applied. Any other ways of checking for issues without removing it?
Where can I get seals for the hose assembly at the rear of the compressor ? The wire mesh filter looks very clean, FWIW.
Where should I add oil prior to allowing the compressor to run? Directly into the input port? Or in some special oil reservoir?
Thanks again for all the help both on and off-net.
Jim
Answers from last time:
There are only 4 screws holding the evaporator in. It took some gentle heat gun action to loosen the goo holding it in. No critter nests found.
Apparently there are two configurations for the accumulator/dehydrator. Mine has it mounted on the A/C box, not the condenser.
I have an unused port on a T fitting on the intake manifold which I will connect to the vacuum tank.
