G'day,
I have noticed there have been a few messages on the GMCnet discussing the
replacement of the clutch and seal in the A-6 compressor of late. I went to
the MM and found that the procedure is quite detailed but the tools are all
referenced by J-XXXX and while pictured they are not fully described (the
snap ring pliers numbers ARE provided - #21 & #26). Since I have never
rebuilt one of these I don't have the tools and obtaining them would satisfy
my tool junkie cravings for a day or so! ;-)
Since obtaining the J-XXXX tools referenced in the MM from Kent Moore would
more than likely be more than my tool junkie habit can afford it would be
nice to have some descriptions / pictures / sources of the tools.
