I have seen the so-called "HEI Corrected Distributor Cap" and was wondering whether any of us had tried these on their coach yet. Accell makes them (among others) and the going rate is about $50.

For those who have not heard of this, it is an internally-rewired HEI-style distributor cap that has cylinder numbers 1-3-5 -7 on one side and 2-4-6-8 on the other side so that ignition wires do not have to cross from left to right, etc.

Maybe it could be an available option on Patterson's distributor?

Disclaimer: I have no interets in the automotive parts industry and I blahh, blahh...
