G'day,

Did better today and got on the road at 08:30. No dramas until it started
sprinkling out of Biloxi - the driver's side windshield wiper clip came
loose. Fortunately I was able to shut them off before the wiper and clip
departed the coach. A quick fix with some electrical tape and we're off and
running again. Now I know why that GMC I saw at Patterson had some tie wraps
around the clips!

Things went smoothly until after lunch when the dash air and aux evaporator
gave up the ghost and quit cooling. For the hell of it I tried to start the
Onan again and once again it was "KLUNK" nothing more. Fortunately Double
Trouble has a set of wind wings and I set them up and it was OK. Hopefully
tomorrow the temps on the run to Chuck Boyd's will be OK.

The supply of idiots on the roads is never ending! You signal to get in the
right lane and out of everybody's way and they speed up not to let you in.
The third guy that did this to me lit up his tires when he had to slam on
the brakes cause I just kept coming! He then sped past me on the left and
made some interesting gestures as he went past. He pulled up in front of me
but I figger'd out what he was going to do and dropped my speed down so low
he lost patience and sped off.

Once off the freeway I discovered that my auxiliary vacuum pump that
supplies the sensitized booster seems to have died also. I will check it in
the AM, maybe it's just the fuse (wishful thinking)! At any rate it is
becoming glaringly obvious to me that I need to wring out the electrics on
this coach. I don't look forward to it as I am electrically challenged. I
can figger electrical stuff out but I am EXTREMELY SLOW!

Oh yeah, I got a bit of a shock today at a gas station. The pump quit at
$75.00 and that got me 20.555 gallons. I ran it a second time and put in
another $75.00 making a total of 41.11 gallons and I could have started on a
third $75.00. Still it's not as bad as filling my Mazda Tribute at home. The
last time I did that it cost me $85.00 and since the Australian Dollar is
worth MORE than the US Dollar it's worse.

Tomorrow - Chuck Boyd's and Bean Station or bust!

Regards,
Rob M.
