WoW! Found a shop in Bryan/college Station Texas that has had experience working on GMC motorhome mechanical issues.
Chop's Automotive on Hwy 30(toward Hustsville).
I was correct in that my A/C guy in Houston had incorrectly connected the alternator so the battery was not being charged. Mike fixed that pronto, reconnecting the isolator properly with the alternator in the center connector on the isolator, battery on terminal 1 and the coach batteries on the third terminal.
