G'day,

I made it to Biloxi, MS on my trip up to Bean Station. With the help of John
Sharpe I got underway at the crack of noon! ;-)

It was a bit hectic this morning the first thing we had to do is turn in the
Enterprise rent a car. The lock in the driver's door that hadn't been
working properly and it got completely jammed requiring that I crawl in
across the pax seat from Saturday afternoon until Monday AM when I turned it
in. I'm too bloody big to do a Duke of Hazard entry through the window! No
smart a$$ comments about that!

We then went over to get some LPG so I could run the fridge while underway
and cook for the next couple of weeks. The tank holds 20.8 gallons and I
figger'd 6 gallons would be enough to handle those tasks. I changed my mind
and let him add 7. When I pressed the LPG quantity switch 1/4 lit up! YES! I
am still going to get the correct O-ring for the gage and replace it.

After adding the LPG I got in the coach and switched the fridge on to see if
it would work, NADA! DAMN! John mentioned that was probably because the line
had air in it which made sense so we tried again. Still nothing! The third
time a light bulb over my head came on and noted to John that you have to
open the valve on the tank to get LPG out! DOUH! Worked fine after that.

Yesterday we had the Onan and A/C running while I packed the coach and
commented to John how great it ran. After that was done I took Double
Trouble over to John's to flush the anti-freeze out of the water system and
figger'd I fire it up to keep comfortable messing around inside. Hit the
switch and the starter went KLUNK! That's it! We didn't have time to mess
with it as we wanted to go have dinner so looks like I have something to
investigate when I get to Bean Station. I reckon I jinxed myself by noting
how well it ran!

Uneventful run over to Biloxi except for the idiots on the road, I make it a
habit to get into the left lane when approaching an on ramp just in case a
vehicle getting on the freeway is being driving by someone with the driving
skills of Bozo the Clown! I stay there just long enough to clear the ramp
and then it's back in the right lane. I can't figger out why some morons who
won't let you back into the right lane so you don't hold up people in the
passing lane!

The GPS got me lost, I passed the exit on I-10 I should have taken for the
RV park at a bit after 7:00 PM and it took me until 8:20 to find my way
back!

Well that's about it for the moment, hopefully tomorrows run up to Chez
Henderson will go smoother!

Oh yeah, back to the Subject: What address to I put in the GPS for Bean
Station?

Regards,
Rob M.
