The last day coming into the GMCMI convention at Patterson LA, the engine was not smooth and the idle was not smooth as normal. After engine shut-down for fuel and the restart, it was evident that there was a leak-down of one or possibly both injectors, looking at the puff of black exhaust after restart. Taking the cover off the air cleaner and looking at the spray pattern and after shut-off, the right injector had problems.

Yesterday, at the GMCMI site, I changed out the two injectors. When I removed the hold-down cover and pulled the injectors, the right one was dry, evidence of leak-down. The 2 micron injector screens were nice and clean, as was the well that the injectors sit in. Replaced both injectors and the spray pattern and pintle shut-off was back to normal. The is just over 80K on these injectors, GM originals.

I put several pic's on the photo site.
