I think many are confused as to what has happened at GEMRECS.
True, I sold most of my inventory to Bob Stone of Carbondale Illinois. Still, I have some parts I removed from the remaining parts coaches which I will bring to Patterson.

My intent is to produce more reproduction and new parts not otherwise available. This is my future-a smaller, more manageable operation. I will bring to Patterson new "Fishing Cabinets, new exterior louvered doors for the refer, inside panels(by Jenkins) and behind the dash cover(by Jenkins), also a powder coated range top.
I am looking into producing 4 other items at this time which may be available at the fall convention.

I have greatly enjoyed the past 3.5 years providing used parts to the GMC community at low cost, but I must back off due to health issues. I was due for knee surgery in February, postponed it only to have an emergency ruptured appendix removed on March 9th. At that time, the doc said an old hernia surgery needs to be redone. So I need two knee surgeries and a hernia repair-not conducive to working on GMCs in 90/90 heat and humidity we have here in Houston. Of course, I am not up to speed following the March surgery either, so I will have some folks load the trailer for me for Patterson.

Two parts coaches are available for only $250 each. One has a running 403 and the other a 455. Good parts include a few windows, front hubs, knuckles, axles, trans, FD, rear hubs, drums, bogies, torsion bars and adjusters, decent front bumper, frames and more. These must go as I need to clear the lot, then the shop to relocate to a smaller facility. If not sold, I will have to send them to salvage as I cannot dismantle the parts. I will have photos at Pattterson.

We want to transition to the GMC Edgemonte we have on hand. This coach will need a thorough going through so to finance this, we will sell our 74 Eleganza beginning at Patterson. Over $2400 has been spent upgrading this coach in the last year after having 3 burned valves. It now has "J" heads, an aluminum manifold, Paterson carburetor and much more. The full spec sheet will be available at Patterson. This coach promises a high level of reliability to the buyer as we are finishing up with repairing the dash air and will install new mufflers also.
Thanks for your business and for reading this post. See you all in Patterson April 10th, God willing......Michael
