"I just drove this motorhome over 1,600 miles to south Florida from my home in Indiana and I am currently camping in Port Saint Lucie, FL. It has over $28,000.00 in receipts from Cinnabar Engineering where they performed a complete (motor, transmission, suspension and brakes) mechanical rebuild only 11k miles ago. I have all the paper work and a break down of the work that has been done. The body is in great condition, the paint still looks good (stripe is faded) and the undercarriage is imaculate (NO RUST)! There is also a 18' ZipDee awning with a brand new spring installed for ease of use when you need a nice shady spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The interior has had a number of upgrades including new Intelli-power converter, new house batteries, laminate flooring, new furnace and electric wall heater, new Dometic fridge/freezer, new Duo-Therm roof A/C with heat, 22" flat screen monitor...etc. The list goes on and on the easiest way to do this is to tell you what hasn't been replaced or rebuilt. The window weather stripping needs replaced ($250), the water heater needs a new tank and the mufflers need attention. THATS IT! there is nothing else that I can think of that needs done on this amazing coach. Its a side wet-bath model. In the pictures you will notice I took a few decorating liberties. I removed half the dinette to give the coach a bit more "leg-room" but it is included and easily bolted back in place, I also have the original couch back that swings up to become a bunk bed and I have a mattress (not included) on the rear fold down dinette for my sleeping quarters. Both pieces are in fine condition I just chose to remove them to suit my own tastes. Most of the original headliner is in good shape however one panel has a bit of a sag (see pic.) and I also have replacement automotive carpet for the front "driver" and "passenger" area that has yet to be installed. Mechanically this coach is like new. Cinnabar installed a completely remanufactured 455 and rebuilt the trans axle including a new 3.42 final drive gear ratio for improved performance. All of the brake lines/brakes were replaced as well as the entire air compressor assembly for the air-bag rear suspension and it works perfectly. The tires are E rated Michelins and only have a few thousand miles on them. The 6KW generator needs a fuel line but runs like new.
Overall this GMC is in amazing condition and I would not hesitate to drive it across the country, HECK, I JUST DID! Don't miss your chance to own a true classic Motorhome. These are the most sought after motorhomes there are and are not only a pleasure to own but will undoubtedly increase in value (unlike most rv's).
