I'm planning a 2200 mile trip next month from Vancouver, Washington to Fredericksburg, Texas. Let's not get into why someone would go to Texas but rather the part numbers I need to buy a spare alternator, water pump and belts for my 76 Palm Beach. I've read many lists of things to carry along and they get pretty long but I'm open to suggestions for other things to have on hand, just in case.

Any favorite brand for alternator or water pump?
