Hi and thanks for offering such a wonderful service.
I am not a GMC Motorhome owner...yet, although looking very, very hard - and hoping someone amongst the group could perhaps help me.
I have quite a project in mind and without going in to great detail, I am looking for an inexpensive "base" to start from. I have done some homework, have found gorgeous coaches all over the US and Canada, but have yet to find quite what I'm looking for.
Ultimately, it would be an empty shell - 23 or 26 foot, well the preference would be a 23' or any flavor of Transmode. As transport cost to ship these things around in any condition seems very high, something that runs would be preferred - even if it's not running super well, but enough to drive it home - and I'm not afraid to cross the country or border *if* the math works out.
If anyone has such a 'donor' kicking around that might fit the bill, I would really like to hear from you. Of course, if the price was decent I would take any model, any length - it just would seem a shame to be discarding and re-doing nice original things.
Thanks all,
Gord
