Thanks to everyone who came to the Fleetweek event. We'll try to have another one of those this year if everything falls into place. I'll keep you updated.
At the event we learned that there was a group of people from the Bay Area who wanted a less formal way to get together than a full-blown club rally or as a way to get out in between the rallies. There's also a concentration of owners and good destinations nearby. Most of us already are or are planning to become members of the 49ers, etc but this is our way of just getting out more often and enjoying our GMC's in an even more local venue.
We've been working on a new website and it's ready to go now... http://gggmc.org for the "GMC Motorhome Fleet of the Golden Gate."
Everyone is welcome to join, but the discussion is intended to focus on owners around here. We've got articles on "Tips" for local resources and destinations, as well as "Trips" that we have planned to places that are only a short drive. There's a live chat room, too.
Come check it out, especially if you're here in the Bay Area and looking for things to do!
