Reference is not to Some Other Brand...
It is technically a Hex Head Cap Screw, but I have called this one lots of other things.

I got my trans and final drive down.

Several of you suggested that I take the FD and trans down separately. Nice thought.....

Someplace along the line somebody put screws in all the holes.

There is NO Fing Way to get that babe out of there. It will only get loose with a box wrench with the whole thing on the floor. (Yes, I tried all the extensions u-joints and floppy extensions and crowfeet and I even borrowed a crowfoot flare nut wrench from a friend and could not get the needed 1/24th of a turn to get it loose enough to do any good.

I asked Manny. Summary - leave it out. The hole was there and someone though it needed it.

It will be out and the trans and final drive will go back in as separate parts.
