Thanks to everyone who helped me out with this. A long weekend and a
little bit of a Monday night and it all works as advertised.

Not sure it would be worth all the work for a little storage and a
thermometer and compass. Totally worth it for the extra speakers. It's
not exactly an Audiophile's dream but it's a bunch better than it was.

Info is here. Let me know if I've forgotten anything. Wiring up the
lights is pretty straightforward so I didn't document that.

Thanks again to Keith V, Ken Burton and Bob Burkitt. Hopefully I've
taken what they gave me and consolidated it a bit.
