Ken,
Thanks for the input.
That was not mentioned ,in the GMC Manual.
There was a discussion ,on the net about changing the Transmission oil and
how to get it out of the Torque Converter and nothing was mentioned, about
'long time cold".

Paul,

I think you just experienced torque converter leak-down. There's a
difference between "long time cold", "cold", and "hot". But "long time
cold" should become "cold" almost immediately when you crank the engine,
refilling the torque converter. "Hot" happens only after a long, hard run.
