Finally got around to working on this. When I took out the old inline fuse that had melted, I discovered that the end of the hot cable was frayed off (no burn marks, though). There was a LOT of corrosion there.
All I can see of this cable is about 5 ". Where does it come from? I guess I'll have to replace it. What size cable & how long? How do I go about replacing this?
This is for the house battery. Strange thing is that the little light in the generator compartment works even with the house battery disconnected. I am attached to shore power.
Guess I'm lucky I didn't have a fire. And also I'm at home and not on the road somewhere.
