Roland, it is likely prior owner Don Wirth might have changed the 50A
cord to a 30A, in order to get more cord stuffed in the stowage area.
Many
owners have made this change. You might call Barbar Wirth who still lives
in Harteville OH to see if she knows anything about it.

Also, if you don't have an owner's manual check Billy Massey's GMC
Publications web site for one. http://www.bdub.net/manuals/index.html You
may have to use
the 1977 manual.
