My roof A/C quit working. I am fairly sure it worked a few months ago, but it hasn't been hot enough to worry about... I KNOW it worked last year... it was working when the Onan died.
It is:
Coleman Mach - model number 8333-871 - R-22 Refrigerant
The fan runs. I checked the start and run caps and they check out like good caps. I jumped the thermostat and the compressor runs (vibrates) but none of the tubes change temperature.
Is there anything else to check before I pull the unit?
I have an almost new 15k low profile Carrier Unit on my other coach. (Not being used, but not yet a parts coach) That I could transfer to this one but would require removing the pod or relocating the MaxAir unit to the center hole and installing the low profile unit on the front hole... plus the rewiring to make it work.
