Saw the most unusual GMC conversion today, after leaving Leigh Harrison's place, in Woodbridge, VA.
A commercial custom builder had built a very large Class B (in general concept) RV on a Ford F350 Dual Cab cab and frame, with a 23' foot GMC body as the cargo compartment. It had a extended rear frame with 2 Onan Emerald generators. Had twin low profile A/C's on the top, and looked like a European design awning. It also had the extended front compartment over the Ford cab, typical to Class B RV's. Had one of GMC motorhome enhancements windows in the door, and the rear window was a split design, that looked like it could be opened, similar to the OEM side windows.
Vehicle was painted "Dark Navy Blue", and had U.S. Navy marking on the door (typical military style, lead number was "95"). Also had U.S. Government tags. Drivers were civilians, not in military uniform. Probably GS types. Did not ask what it was, other than to confirm that it was a "GMC" based design.
