Hi all,
Just blew a tire on my GMC. Looks like the belt gave way (will post a pic later). The tires I have are Dunlop and look like they are in great shape but I think they are close to 10 years old. Anyway I am currently on vacation and will be driving back to Indy tomorrow and have been desperately looking for a replacement tire but no luck here in Cedar Rapids. My father-in-law had a friend who had a spare 1 ton tire and wheel just like the on off the GMC so that will now be my spare. Anyway I now want to replace all the tires and install 16" wheels and tires. Looking at the earlier posts on the same subject I went to Southwest tire website and looks like they sell new steel 16" rims that will fit the GMC. See below link. Can anyone confirm if these will fit. The specs seem to be the same.
