I've seen a few GMCs that appear to have the "middle age spread." On one,
the top of the door was flush with the motor home when closed, but the
bottom was not (possibly just a bent door). On another, the aluminum was
"puckered" at the seam on the drivers side behind the galley window,
creating a small gap. I've looked over Emery's fix at
http://www.gmcmotorhome.info/spread.html, but was wondering if anyone has
tried pulling the sides in using cables and a turnbuckle. Any other fixes
out there?
And is middle age spread really anything to worry about?
