Good Morning
Well, I found some trim that goes on the coach that works great for the Birch Screen Door and I installed the door last night.
I expected this to be a HUGE job and was prepared for the worst, but the whole job took about 1 1/2 hours.
I had previously installed the hinge plates to the door, so that was a good head start.
I modified the door plate per the instructions and pop riveted on the adapter plate.
Put the new trim on the door frame and the rubber back on the new door adapter plate.
I re-curved the door to fit my coach, just by putting the door on saw horses and slightly bending the frame in the right places.
Lined it up and pop riveted the door to the hinges.
It opened and closed like crap, so I took some wood blocks and a big honk'in rubber mallet and wailed on the hinge plates in all different directions and positions until it opened and closed perfect.
Closed the main door, made a couple of more minor adjustments with the good ole mallet and DONE.
I've heard of people working entire days to get these to work...... I think the key is to not be afraid of it and just do what you have to do to make it work. Bend the hinge plates, etc. until everything aligns right.
I'll post pictures and more info on the trim that I found later.
