I was contacted by a former Cascader member who stores his coach near Anacortes Washington. His coach, an Eleganza, has set too long and he is wanting to sell if possible as a parts coach or rebuilder.

If interested, read his email and contact him.

Ron,
Thanks for offering to post this for the GMC group. This is a 26ft. Eleganza coach that is restorable if someone is so inclined. We drove it for a number of years and parked it about five years ago. At that time, everything was working. I would start it up and drive it around a little bit about once a year. Last year it would not start. I isolated the problem to the coil and replace it a few days ago. I put a freshly charged battery in it and tried to start it. The starter does not want to turn the engine over. In addition the air bags do not inflate. I am getting full pressure at the tank (100lbs.). Last time I ran the thing the transmition was not wanting to engage. I was told by a transmition shop that the seals inside the transmition had dried out and that the problem might be corrected with a chemical that GMC offers to soften up the seals. The coach is stored in a storage yard in LaConner WA. That is just up channel from Anacortes in NW Washington. The coach has a 3-way Dometic refrigerator, Alcoa wheels, good tires and a macerator pump on the waste tank pump out.

Anything that you can do to get this out to the widest audience of GMCers is greatly appreciated. We are only in WA for a short time in the summer and we need to get this thing moved. I expect that it has some value but I don't expect to get much for a non-running coach. I am open to any offer. Any one interested can contact me, Jack McKenzie, 702 Shelter Bay Dr., LaConner, WA. 98257 or by phone at 360 466-3527.

Thanks again for you help.

Jack
