I may be getting close on a GMC. We'll see.

My plan is to use our '04 Jetta TDI as the toad. It is a 5 speed manual shift. Blue Ox's website says the plate requires some cutting of the plastic baffles in the front.

I'm pretty much willing to cut as needed, but wondered if anyone else has had any experience this install or with towing this type of car. This is my wife's car, so I have to be judicious with how it looks.
