Any of you engine re builder types here make a tool to lock the harmonic balancer to break the bolt free? I am either going to wrap the sucker a few rounds with a ratchet strap and lock to the frame rail or make a bar with two holes and a clearance notch to lock the crank against the ground or frame rail so I can break the sucker loose with an impact wrench or a cheeter bar.

On Hasbeen's insistence while we were at the car show sat night, I have decided to change the noodle that is my timing chain. was nice and tight on the fuel pump side, but a reverse turn on the crank shows that it is as loose as a necklace on the down side.

Picked up a nice gasket set for the front cover which includes all the gaskets and a nice little tube of rtv, shaft seal, and repair sleeve.

Any suggestions?
