Ok, 3 months til the convention. Teri and I hope yall are thinking about this one. It is going to be nice. We met Ray and Carol, Keith, and Kim, there yesterday. This is one nice place for a gathering. It is also easy to get to. If you are coming from the south, think about getting off 57 onto 51 @ mm 22. 35 miles of 2 lane but it is wide and rolling hills. Will keep you from climbing the big 400 foot hill on 57 just south of Marion.
There are 8 stop lights in Carbondale but it is divided one way and the traffic flows really quick through the mile long area of lights.
Hiway 51 is also an excellent road if coming south from I-64. One can jump across on 14 from I-57. Very rural highway and not a lot of traffic. Don't use 13 unless you have lots of time. It is mostly shopping centers from Marion to Carbondale, 15 miles long.
So, start making your plans. If you have any questions just email me at gregg_dan at hotmail.com. Make sure you put GMC or Du Quoin in the title so I open it.
This is 10 miles from Arch's house. Email him and let him know how much you would like to see him. I will go get him so he does not need to find a ride.
