Well, I just put 45.8 gallons in it so I am sure both tanks are full. I was preparing for our maiden trip next week. Now canceled and back to the Suburban until faith is restored. Did not take me long to give up on the fuel gauge for my hopes on future travel distance. I did replace Carb fuel filter the same day, so that is out. Need to find out if I have an inline filter and will install is not there. I am now thinkikng that this 10% alcohol is eating that Q jet carbs lunch. Keep thinking I know there is a solution.

Response from Sandra Price (not mechanical in any way, only sleep with my
mechanic): Since it runs better on reserve tank, your main tank could be
low on fuel. We know this because it has happened to us. Not many GMCers
trust their fuel gauge. We fill up after about 250 miles, no more than 300
miles.

Response from Bob Price (Sandra's mechanic): Check the fuel filters--(1)
inline, if it has an inline filter, and (2) in the carbureator. If it does
not have an inline filter, you should install one just before the electric
fuel pump so that trash cannot get into the electric fuel pump.

Sounds like you have a nice coach. Hope you get this challenge resolved.

Chuck
