G'day,
I am happy to pack up my GMC and head of just about anywhere, as long as I have my tool box and a few spares packed.
A couple of weeks ago I get a call from a mate, "A few motorhomer's are getting together for the mothers day weekend, you and Gail interested?" Sure why not, it's only 30 miles away.
On the day I just threw in some food, drink and clothes and hosed down the windows.... BANG. Split the left screen from top to bottom right on the curve, and I haven't even left the house!
Now I am trying to get the screens (shields) replaced, the right screen is badly scratched, so might as well bit the bullet and get both done. The glass suppliers here are keen to have a go at replacing the screen but can find no listings for them. I have found listings for them in the States, but only local shipping. Have any of you overseas GMC owners ever had windshields shipped to you? If so who and how?
By the way we still had a great weekend.
