Hello all, went to work on my bad tach, lifted off the aircleaner and felt something odd like oil on the botom of the air cleaner. Puddle inbetween two of the runners. Hmmmmm,,,Not another leak, but on top of the motor!!!. Really odd and then I noticed the top of the Pertronix coil{can type} was cocked at about a 20 degree angle and split around the top 1/2 of the can. Thought I might have left the ignition on,nope its off but that was what I was doing last. Must have missed the sound of it going when I was out side working on something else while the ignition was on. Have left probably every vehicle I,ve owned on at one time or another and never had this happen. Anyone else???PL
