I've asked this question before when I had the bad experience with the OEM jack, and the answers were inconclusive.
Not to dismiss their usefulness, the problem with the jack hook is:
a) the slot at the front frame rail is not a blessed jack point re: the GMC manual's instructions on jacking.
b) some folks have apparently cracked their windshield by jacking only one side of the coach in front.
So I dunno -- think we need either a jack that can slide under the beast to the sanctioned center jack point even
with a flat, or maybe two hooks/jacks to raise both sides simultaneously.
