That mirrors my thoughts.
I am still deciding on WHAT coach to rebuild, but whatever one it is, I plan on driving it 30 years from now. Might as well make it "new" now.
If one was to rebuild "everything" it looks cheaper to go with the Hubler Heavy Duty Front End Kit from Jim K. Besides being an "upgrade," it seems to be the cheaper way to go when adding up the numbers.

I have made a spreadsheet with the prices of the OEM style parts and the Hubler parts. I still have some questions but it is looking like staying "OEM style" is a few hundred dollars more.
I am not in a big hurry (yet) and I need to get more information on part sourcing. (I will need replacement parts -- sometime. And I do not expect Jim K. to be selling much of anything 25 to 30 years from now!)
Sometime I have to get around to calling Jim K. and getting my questions answered. (Just need to get my questions lined up.)
