Recently the idle has become really rough when warm, upon cold startup it runs fine until you bump it off the fast idle then it acts like the choke is stuck, stumbling and sooty exhaust. Checked choke and open but actually runs a bit better whne choke pushed partially back with finger. I'm thinking cracked intake and going to pull plugs to see if all are same condition or specific cylinder related. Just got back from a trip and pulled the Cuesta grade with no problems and full power although I haven't check the numbers but fuel economy seems to have decreased. Anybody seen this? related to intake crossover crack?

Thanks
