Hey guys,
I don't post a lot here, but I've been playing along at home...
Anyway, I managed to back up and catch a large piece of wood that has bent
my 73 455's y-pipe. Now I have a huge exhaust leak at the donut gasket to
the left manifold. Is the y-pipe a stock part that I can just go purchase?
Or does it have to be made at this point?
I know that a lot of you are going to say, that it's a good time to convert
to headers. I'd agree, but my wallet doesn't. There is a leak/crack from the
left manifold, which is even more reason to do so. However, I'm guessing
headers are going to be at least 5 times more expensive than just replacing
the y-pipe.
Thank you,
Eddie Pettit
