I finally got my new water tank and water pump installed, and want to replace the lines with some Pex tubing. Unfortunately, it seems that the old, black water lines do not slip into the Pex connectors, so I have to do some searching. Are all the fittings regular compressions fittings (as they appear), or do the black colored water lines use some special fittings? I want to reposition some lines to make winterizing and draining lines an easier task, and replace some of these old fittings. It may not be necessary to replace the entire system, and if I can just replace those lines from the tank to the water heater, I'm not a glutton for punishment!
Thanks in advance for any help!
