Ernest,
Am I missing ,something here.?
When you go to W.O.T. you dump all the Vacuum. That is when the Vacuum
Brake will release the back Barrels to open.
My Vacuum doesn't go below 7 inches Hg at W.O.T.
I've Checked, the Vacumn brake and just 4 inches Hg will energize it and
keep the back barrels from opening.
I plugged the Vacuum going to the Vacuum Brake and the Back Barrels open at
W.O.T. now.
I did this, when I was at the Ralley in Perry.it ran good ,up to Ken's
Aunt's place ,I followed Ken and stayed with him and he doesn't drive slow
,and then Home.

Before monkeying with the carb, and for sure trouble shooting the
secondaries, make sure the timing is right where you want it to be. Case in
point, I could not get my secondaries to open when the timing was 15 degrees
retarded from spec. Next make sure the mufflers are not obstructed, you
need to pass gas to make vacuum. Vacuum will open the secondaries.
There will be a point at low vacuum where the secondaries will close and
just primaries will be open. More pronounced when lugging and losing rpm's
in climbing a hill.
